Thomas’s Foundation

Thomas’s Foundation, a Charitable Incorporated Organisation established in 2018, is the charitable arm of Thomas’s London Day Schools. It is driven by the belief that every child deserves an enriching education.

Thomas’s Foundation delivers its vision through two core programmes: Community Partnerships and Foundation Bursaries.

In addition, programmes supporting education in Nepal through the CAIRN Trust will continue until 2028.

Community Partnerships

Working closely with the PTA in each school, Thomas’s Foundation supports programmes that meet the greatest needs of local schoolchildren in our immediate neighbourhoods of Battersea, Clapham, Fulham, Kensington and Richmond. Through community partnerships, Thomas’s Foundation gives pupils access to inspiring and stimulating educational opportunities, which build self esteem and encourage a love of learning. More than 100 volunteers from the Thomas’s community work closely to identify, develop and manage a broad range of community partnership projects. Thomas’s Foundation funds programmes in the fields of art, drama, music, sport, outdoor learning and academic support.

Foundation Bursaries

Thomas’s Foundation funds transformational bursaries from Year 7 at Thomas’s, the amount being dependent on a family’s income, assets and circumstances. Thomas’s Foundation also helps bursary recipients with additional costs such as uniforms, books and school trips.
